The Talent Company, a Syracuse-based
semi-professional theatre company, prides itself with presenting top quality shows at affordable prices. It has presented over 200 productions at numerous venues including The Civic Center, Landmark Theatre, Springside Inn, Three Rivers Inn, and NewTimes Theatre, and has toured numerous dinner theatre shows to major hotels and restaurants throughout central and northern New York. Celebrating 25 years, The Talent Company has presented the CNY premieres of such Broadway hits as A Chorus Line, Grease, Nunsense, Chicago, Footloose, The Full Monty,  and Copacabana, just to name a few. For the past 14 years, it has produced at least three Broadway musicals a season at the NewTimes Empire Theatre located in the Art & Home Centre at the N.Y.S. Fairgrounds, as well as several shows at The Turning Stone Casino Resort.

     The Talent Company presents the Central New York premiere of Irving Berlin's White Christmas. The tale of a couple of song-and-dance men who meet up with a sister act to make sparks fly and snow fall will play November 13 - December 13, 2009 at the NewTimes Theatre, Art & Home Center, NYS Fairgrounds.
     Based on the beloved 1954 movie musical that starred Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye. the Broadway hit is full of dancing, romance, laughter, and some of the greatest songs ever written, including “Happy Holiday,” “Sisters,” “I Love a Piano,” “Blue Skies,” “How Deep is the Ocean,” “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm,” “The Best Things Happen While You’re Dancing,” “Falling Out Of Love Can Be Fun,” “Love, You Didn’t Do Right By Me,” “Count Your Blessings (Instead of Sheep),” and the unforgettable title song, “White Christmas.” 
     Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm plus Saturday matinees at 2pm on November 28, December 5, and December 12.
     White Christmas stars Bob Brown as Bob Wallace and Gary Troy as Phil Davis, the song-and-dance men, and Brandi Ozark Weston as Judy Haynes and Colleen Wager as Betty Haynes, the “sister act.” While these stars are no strangers to Syracuse audiences, they have performed near and far. Bob Brown, with over 150 roles to his credit locally, has toured nationally as King Arthur in Camelot, Nicky Arnstein in Funny Girl, and Abel Frank in State Fair. Gary Troy, currently living in NYC, has appeared in Syracuse as Bill Snibson in Me and My Girl, Don Lockwood in Singing in the Rain, and the title role in Arthur; Off Broadway in They’re Playing Our Song and Molly McGuire, and regionally in Oliver, A Christmas Carol, Joseph…, Crazy For You, and “Stop The World I Want To Get Off.  Brandi Ozark Weston, now living in Northern Virginia, has performed numerous roles in the Syracuse area, (the last one being Cassie in Talent Company’s A Chorus Line), and has toured in Singing In the Rain and in the first national company of State Fair starring John Davidson.  Colleen Wager, returning to Syracuse after living in South Carolina, has had starring roles locally in Jesus Christ Superstar, Fiddler on the Roof, and L’il Abner, has recorded radio and television jingles, and has sung with several bands. 
      White Christmas features Bill Coughlin as General Henry Waverly and Christine Lightcap as Martha Watson with Julia Goodman as Susan Waverly, Lou Leonardo as Ralph Sheldrake and Gennaro Parlato as Ezekiel Foster. Rounding out the cast are Jim Baxter, Molly Brown, Camille Chace, Zachary Chase, Cruz Gonzalez, Kimberly Grader, Bobby Hall, Kaleigh Pfohl, Eddie Powers, Korrie Strodel, Josh Taylor, and Rashad Williams.
     White Christmas is produced by Christine Lightcap assisted by Brenda Neuss, directed by Dan Tursi, and choreographed by Michael Groesbeck. Music direction is by Nadine Cole, costumes are by Eugene Taddeo assisted by Jeanette Reyner, set design is by Heather Hartkopf, set construction by Stephen Beebe, lighting design by Cindy Shippers, and sound design by Tony Vadala.
